Snow Day!
For a day like this (7 1/2 inches of snow!), I love curling up with a book and some hot cocoa, but I of course need to find a comfy and cute outfit first!
While sweatpants and a t-shirt is typical lazy day attire, I am not one to settle for the norm. I decided add a little color to my outfit and my day :)
1. A soft, gray sweatshirt set the base for my snow day outfit, perfect for layering!
2. These fleece-lined navy blue leggings are SUPER cozy and can be dressed up or down (MOD clothing store, locations in Edwardsville and O'Fallon)
3. Ahhhh! My absolute favorite pair of shoes this winter! These pink bow UGGs have been my dream since I first set eyes on them when they were only sold in kid sizes. (I'd love to say that my disappointment at not being able to fit in the kids' size 3 at Nordstrom was the driving force to make womens' sizes, but that's highly unlikely...) Needless to say, my dream came true when I finally ordered mine :) (UGG Australia www.uggaustralia.com $205)
4. My favorite scarf topped off my cozy outfit and added some more color

Just a reminder: Leggings aren't pants. As long as that sweatshirt covers your bum, I think it works. But beware the "I'm-wearing-tights-and-forgot-my-skirt look." :)
